FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: knowledge to be imparted to educands is first converted based on psychological laws and criteria of cognitive activities using means, instruments and multimedia technologies in optimum virtual multimedia reality. Basic multimedia clips consisting of a video track and two audio tracks are made. The first basic audio track contains all sounds except speech. The second track contains speech in the main presentation language. A subtitle track is recorded in digital form on a physical carrier. Speech and text components of the basic multimedia clips are translated to the required language of instruction and the corresponding number of synchronous digital tracks of speech accompaniment and subtitles is made. Each audio track is obtained by mixing the basic audio track and one speech track in the given language and a similar number of subtitle tracks with possibility of their selection. The educational multimedia films are centrally transmitted over digital television channels, and exchange of any other educational information, including reference information, interactive lessons and adaptive inspection of lessons are done over the Internet.
