SUBSTANCE: method for transmitting motion of a subject from a video to an animated character in which a set of frames comprising a source mobile subject is obtained is performed by detecting an original mobile subject by determining its location and motion parameters in a two-dimensional frame coordinate system, determining coordinates of key points of the body of the original mobile object based on the location and motion parameters of the mobile object, determined at the previous step by means of an artificial neural network, obtaining an animated character image, generating synthetic frames with an animated character, repeating motions of the original mobile object based on a set of coordinates of key points of the original mobile object, determined earlier, obtained generated frames are merged into a video clip, wherein each frame of the set obtained at the first step corresponds to one frame of the generated frame set.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of speed and accuracy of movement of subject from one video to another subject.
