FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric toothbrushes with illumination and is aimed at creation of positive effect for condition of oral cavity. Toothbrush comprises handle, head, narrowed part passing between handle and head, bristle holder arranged on head and light-emitting element arranged in the form of light diode and installed in bristle holder. Light-emitting element protrudes at least partially over surface of bristle holder via opening of bristle holder and is arranged with the possibility to radiate light, which characterises by length of wave between approximately 410 nm and approximately 550 nm, and density of power flow, which does not exceed approximately 100 MW/ cm2.
EFFECT: electric toothbrushes are proposed with illumination, as well as methods of their application.
