FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: at finish stage of production there is performed impact treatment of surface of screw-propeller with impact components freely travelling along their axis to transfer kinematic energy transforming into potential energy sufficient for deforming and contraction of surface and near-surface regions of screw-propeller. Also characteristics of fluidity relative to a body are changed by means of super-imposed application of micro-relief and macro-relief on surface of a body through excited ultra-sonic impact effect of a set of impact tools under random or controlled a-periodic mode. Notably, micro- and macro-relief correspond to surface vortex flow of fluid medium flowing round a body. Surface of a metal body has multitude of recesses formed due to excited ultra-sonic impact effect of a set of impact tools under random or controlled a-periodic mode and arranged according to possible intervals between surface vortex flows formed near surface of a body when fluid flows along a body.
EFFECT: upgraded durability of metal.
