FIELD: nondestructive tests of materials and articles. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for nondestructive test of multilayer articles composed of metals, plastic materials and their combinations. Primary converter of shock-acoustic flaw detector has shock system of electromagnetic type and elastic vibration receiving system of magneto- inductive type. Shock and receiving systems are matched geometrically by insertion of body-intermediary coming in the form of ball with ground away upper segment that is used to transmit impact momentum from striking pin to tested article and to take elastic vibrations excited in article. Striking pin is fabricated in the form of dull needle whose non-striking end is pressed fast into plunger of electromagnet and body- intermediary ( ball ) is brazed in center of membrane made of ferromagnetic material which is sensitive element of magneto-inductive receiving system. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity, locality and authenticity of test, reduced level of acoustic noise excited during test, prevention of possibility of any damage to surface of tested article. 1 dwg
