FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle trailer contains support frame near the front edge of which on the same axis virtually perpendicular to main direction of trailer movement, upper ends of two pairs of carrying rods are pivotally mounted. At lower ends of rods in each pair, tyre cylinder with flanges is rotatably mounted. The flanges clamp pneumatic tyre mounted on this tyre cylinder along its sides. On support frame, two pairs of friction rollers are rotatably mounted on axes virtually perpendicular to main direction of trailer movement. Friction rollers in each pair are located in tandem and with possibility to rest on pneumatic tyre located under friction rollers when vehicle trailer is in operational state. Method for improvement of all-wheel drive vehicle flotation ability includes steps in which the mentioned vehicle is provided with two said trailers. Both trailers are connected in tandem using docking unit so that distance between pneumatic tyre axes of both trailer are approximately equal to interaxial distance of the said vehicle. The said vehicle is moved on connected trailers to place vehicle wheels on corresponding pairs of friction rollers of corresponding trailer. The said vehicle is fixed to support frames of both trailers.
EFFECT: increased vehicle flotation ability.
