FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to strengthening procedure, immediately during hot-deformation process, of tubes of oil country tubular goods from carbon and micro-alloyed Nb, V, Mo and Cr steels. Thermomechanical treatment method of tubes involves pre-deformation, air exposure, heating, final deformation and controlled cooling; at that, heating is combined with final deformation process owing to the heat released during final deformation process. Heating, final deformation and controlled cooling is performed for many times in the area of α→γ conversion.
EFFECT: increasing strength, ductility, cold resistance of metal and obtaining the required geometrical sizes, reducing power consumption required for their treatment.
