FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary internal combustion engines. Propose engine comprises housing (1), rotor (23) with vanes (24), compensating combustion chambers (6), operating combustion chambers (7), nozzles (16), air receiver (36), valves-baffles (18), drive shaft (34) with central gear (35), cylinders (2) with opposed pistons (2) with con rods (4) and hinges (5), inclined disk (28), receiver (37), intake (38), discharge (39) and bypass channels (17), valves (8 -14), cam shafts (26), camshaft drive gear wheel (25) and sun gears (27). Aforesaid valves-baffles, when in closed position, form together with rotor surface, vanes (24) and housing (1), the working chambers. Compensating combustion chambers (6) accommodate pistons (20) linked by rods (19) with valves-baffles. Camshafts (26) control valves (8-14) and valves-baffles (18) via rockers (22) and rods (21). Inclined disks (28) act on inclined washers (29) that transmit force to pistons (3) for them to force air into air receiver (36). Levers (32) prevent rotation of inclined washers (29). In working stroke, rods (19) and pistons (20) are forced by gas in compensating chambers (6) to compensate gas forces in working chambers causing transfer of valves-baffles in position "open". Compressed air coming from air receiver in compensating combustion chambers (6) make rods (19) transferring valves-baffles (18) into position "closed". Bypass channels (17) communicate via valves (12) with receiver (37). At the end of working stroke, receiver (37) equalises exhaust gas pressure in motion of valves-baffles (18).
EFFECT: higher reliability of valves locking and driving mechanism.
