SUBSTANCE: proposed axial piston ICE comprises: cylinder block 1, stepped cylinders 2 and pistons 3, con-rods 4, mainshaft 7, inclined disks 8, camshaft 9, swinging washers 11, supports 14 with levers 15, cylinder head 16, intake and discharge manifolds 31, 25, hydraulic lines 30, compressor 32, fuel pump 33, and air compression chambers 34. Pairs of cylinder 2 are arranged in diametral opposition. Cylinder head 16 comprises injectors 17, plungers 18, pushers 19, check valves 20, intake and discharge valves 22, 23, variable-volume combustion chambers 27. Check valves 20 are retained in closed position by air pressure from channel 21. Intake valves 23 have relief chambers 24 communicated with discharge manifolds 25 via channels 26. Compression chambers 34 are confined by stepped cylinders 2 and pistons 3. Compression chambers 34 comprises check valves 35, 36 arranged at air suction and pressure lines. Said chambers 34 are communicated via lines 37 with maximum pressure valves 38 and check valves 20 at air inlet in combustion chambers 27.
EFFECT: better air feed into and air evacuation from combustion chambers.
