FIELD: physics; geophysics.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to offshore geophysical exploration. A geophysical exploration submarine vessel connected by cables to reception antennae is proposed. The cables are wound in sections on onboard windlasses mounted on the vessel. Ship propellers are mounted on the stern and prow of the vessel with possibility of turning the traction vector by any angle in the 0-360° range. The vessel is also fitted with engines which create a vertical displacement vector. Geophysical exploration is carried out by pulling the antenna cables under ice when the submarine vessel moves with lag at an optimum geophysical depth.

EFFECT: increased cost effectiveness, higher quality of obtained material.
