SUBSTANCE: stepped rotary switch comprises insulating ring, on which there are contact plates retained, being arranged in sectors and electrically isolated from each other by means of isolating platforms, and these plates have connecting flags, and also switch comprises rotor arranged with the possibility of rotation around axis for installation into various switching positions with the help of control element and comprising switching bridge for electric connection of at least two contact plates in at least one switching position of the rotor. Insulating ring has plug-in receiving sockets arranged in compliance with sectors, in which contact plates are inserted in axial direction, which are separated by means of cutting of frame part from internal edge, which is stamped as a whole with contact plates from metal sheet.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing and assembly, and also possibility to adapt stepped rotary switch to various electric instruments with the help of simple means.
