FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to painting equipment and can be used in fitting industrial chambers in individual and small-lot production for painting and drying, for example automotive bodies with medium and larger length sides, etc. For this proposed device comprises closed-type intermittent-operation chamber with filtration of heated air forced from above and furnace system to maintain air temperature inside said chamber required for drying large-size product. Central guide channel arranged along movable elevator travel line is made on chamber floor and loading platform ahead of said chamber. Elevator consists of two or more separate support frames arranged along aforesaid channel and mounted on running wheels to carry its service platform coupled with said frame by two parallel Nuremberg-scissors-type articulated linkages elevating service platform. Every support frame incorporates lengthwise stop limiting travel of movable elevator that has two side contact rollers arranged on stop ends and buried in guide channel, above its bottom, for contact rollers to rest upon channel side walls. Support frame comprises also service platform lift drive consisting of two power mechanisms arranged in parallel between aforesaid articulated linkages in vertical plane located across movable elevator travel line. Said power mechanisms consist of flexible inflatable envelopes connected to compressed air source and two lateral frame-box-like safety devices preventing elevator overturn arranged above aforesaid floor at minor distance from it. Said safety mechanisms double as elevator structure stability stabiliser. Support frames are interconnected via telescoping tubular fixation element that defines the distance between said frames subject to large-size product length. One of said support frames is furnished with elevator pneumatic drive. All pneumatic drives of proposed device are connected to common compressed air source via pneumatic control system that ensure compressed air feed to bring elevation of platforms into synchronism.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of painting and drying.
