FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of railway car bogie bolster. Proposed bolster comprises top bar, two lengthwise sidewalls and bottom sheet, all rigidly interconnected, as well as two inner stiffening ribs arranged across bolster transverse axis. Additionally, proposed bolster comprises vertical sheet arranged over the entire bolster length. Said vertical sheet is arranged inside sidewalls and has rectangular cut at its center. Top sheet lower edge is connected to power sheet to repeat its shape, while its upper edge is arranged with a gap relative to upper bar. Said rectangular cut in vertical sheet envelopes two inner stiffening ribs to make fixed joint. Top bar comprises three parts: two sheets and thrust bearing plate with thrust bearings arranged between said sheets and welded together to make butt joint. Also bottom sheet features curved shape with radii R1 of aligning along bolster center varying from 780 to 820 mm, and long bolster ends, R2 , varying from 180 to 220 mm.
EFFECT: higher reliability and mechanical properties of car bogie bolster.
