FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: belt-scraper conveyor consists of drives, upper and lower flights, draw chains with scrapers and belt. Draw chain-scraper component, its width varying from 1 to 6 m, consists of preset number of draw chains, rigidly interconnected scrapers to make cellular system with sections of belt rigidly secured thereto. Conveyor flights consisting of rigid 3-to-12 m-long articulated links are spaced apart. Note that lower flights accommodate roller supports. Drive shafts are made from 20 mm-dia thick-wall 300-to-600 mm-dia tube supporting preset number of driven sprockets corresponding to that of distributed smooth-start drives with hydraulic synchronisation of forces. Drive shaft runs in rolling bearings, being locked by bearing roller ledges and two rings.

EFFECT: possibility to convey whatever loose material, reduced loads.
