FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed equipment comprises sealing covers to seal air intakes of engine cooling system in underwater motion that are arranged above air intake openings and can be opened. Said covers are furnished with retainers used at opening angle of at least 26° with respect to appropriate air intake opening selected to ensure total air intake area making at least 89% of total flow cross section of said openings. Said retainer represents, for example axially spring-loaded stop arranged in vehicle rigid element. Stop one end can interact with sealing cover, while its other end accommodates unlocking element representing rotary lever articulated onto vehicle support.
EFFECT: ruling out rejection of sealing covers, possibility to carry on activities after overcoming water obstacle.
