FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: support grate of nuclear reactor fuel assembly is arranged in the form of plate with round holes for passage of coolant and round holes for installation of fuel elements, central pipe and also bearing pipes or guide channels. At the same time holes for coolant passage are arranged evenly, six of them near each of holes for installation of fuel elements, central pipe, and also bearing pipes or guide channels. Holes for passage of coolant are arranged with two various diametres and are arranged around each of specified holes with alternation of holes of two diametres.

EFFECT: improved stiffness, strength and manufacturability of grate.
