FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry and specifically to a method of carrying out reactions in thin films of high-expansion foam through reinforcement or conjugated chlorination of unsaturated compounds, including a dispersion medium and a dispersed phase. One of the reagents is in the dispersion medium and the other in the dispersed phase. The dispersion medium used is solutions of reagents or solutions of unsaturated compounds and the dispersed phase used is a reactive gas or a mixture of gases. High-expansion foam is obtained using a high-expansion foam generator.
EFFECT: design of a new method which enables to increase output of the end product, reduce output of by-products, as well as amount of waste water during reinforcement and conjugated chlorination of unsaturated compounds in protic solvents.
