FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedure of complex processing crude spodumene ore for production of lithium products and cements. Raw material mixture consisting of crude spodumene ore and limestone at mole ratio CaO:SiO2 equal to 2.0-2.2 and soda at mole ratio Na2O:Al2O3=1 is cooked at temperature 1200-1250°C. Further cake is leached with solution of sodium hydroxide producing slime, solution of alkali metals aluminates and lithium hydroxide, which is subject to decomposition with carbon dioxide. Carbonate variety of double aluminium hydroxide and lithium are precipitated and further lithium products are produced: mono-hydrate of lithium hydroxide by causticisation of precipitate with lime/lime milk and production of solution of lithium hydroxide and precipitate of tri-calcium hydro-aluminate and/or mixture of anhydrous aluminates of lithium by baking carbonate variety of double aluminium hydroxide and lithium at temperature 600-800°C. From precipitate of tri-calcium hydro-aluminate there is prepared raw mixture with slime produced at leaching cake with solution of sodium hydroxide. Further, lime/limestone is added to mole ratio of CaO:SiO2 equal to 2.6-3.0. Thermal treatment is carried out at 600-1400°C, and there are produced slime cement or Portland cement.
