FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: cycloid gear consists of engaging straight cut gears (1, 2) with parallel rotation axes and with mutually enveloping working profiles of gears. Working profile of a tooth in end section of one of gears is epicycloid, while the profile of the tooth of the second gear is hypocycloid, mutually enveloped with epicycloid of the first gear. Teeth in form of non-symmetrical segments are arranged in pairs in planes perpendicular to axes of gears rotation, while in end plane each following tooth is set off relative to a preceding one at the same angular pitch equal in value on both gears and opposite in direction. Number of teeth of one gear is equal to number of teeth of the second gear. Several equally offset teeth are to be arranged on the second gear, when there is an integral gear ratio in plane of the tooth of the first gear.
EFFECT: upgraded level of prossessability, repair ability and bearing capacity; reduced dimensions and specific pressure in engagement; increased service life and efficiency of gear.
