FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tank comprises electromagnetic gun representing solenoid coil wound on gun barrel and core arranged in barrel bore for jet projectile to be fitted thereon. In operation, said coil generates electromagnetic field pushing core with projectile mounted thereon out from the barrel. Projectile pushed out of the barrel, projectile jet engine automatically cuts in. Tank can be equipped with braking solenoid coil arranged closer to barrel end. Said braking coil generates opposite-direction field to brake and stop said core inside the barrel.
EFFECT: smokeless fire by jet projectiles and launching low-range missiles from various closed platforms.
