FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for improvement of stability in process of pipes drawing on fixed mandrel and expansion of functional capabilities of equipment in short-mandrel drawing of pipes from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. Device comprises guiding hollow body, rod with short mandrel and drawing die with die holder installed inside body along its axis and coaxially to body. Minimisation of working length of rod, resulting in elimination of longitudinal oscillations of rod with mandrel is provided due to the fact that guiding hollow body is arranged with the possibility of axial displacement and is equipped with threaded flange rigidly fixed on its end and coupled with threaded bushing, inside which rod with mandrel is fixed by means of threaded joint. Opposite end of body may rigidly rest against bottom of circular bore arranged in drawing die holder coaxially to working channel of die. On threaded part of mandrel rod there might be a check-nut installed, which prevents rod against rotation and axial displacement in process of drawing.
EFFECT: improved stability in process of pipes drawing on fixed mandrel and expansion of functional capabilities of equipment in short-mandrel drawing of pipes from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.
