FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for winding of metal strips onto holder arranged in coiler shaft, to which strip is delivered by feeding device having upper and lower feeding rollers, besides there is a table provided for direction under the strip, and over the strip there is a rotary changing device for strip and rotary cover of shaft adjacent to it and passing almost to winding holder. In method longitudinal pulling force applied to metal strip for control of its motion is identified with the help of tension measurement mechanism installed in shaft and pressed from top into strip, and measurement signal is delivered to controller of feeding device. In device for winding changing device of strip is arranged in the form of tension measurement mechanism pressed from top into strip and is equipped with changing device frame, having lever with roller on front end installed with the possibility of rotation, besides between body and roller lever there is a dynamometre arranged, which is connected to controller by signal.
EFFECT: due to measurement of strip tension in coiler shaft, feeding device is adjusted so that strip travel makes its winding into roll with straight edges possible.
