SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and compositions of ceramic mixtures for making bricks. The ceramic mixture for making bricks contains clay, crushed dry reject bricks, halite and calcined soda, in the following ratio of components in wt %: clay - 89.0-95.5; crushed dry reject bricks - 0.5-1; halite - 0.3-0.4; calcined soda - 0.1-0.2.

EFFECT: higher quality of products due absence of bent faces and edges, through cracks on the faces of the bricks.
