SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly dealing with cast iron compositions applied in mechanical engineering. The cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 3.6-4.0; silicon 1.6-1.8; manganese 0.7-1.1; copper 1.3-1.5; aluminium 0.1-0.15; calcium 0.007-0.011; zirconium 0.1-0.15; lithium 0.002-0.003; phosphor 0.1-0.15; antimony 0.001-0.002; nickel 0.3-0.4; tungsten 0.1-0.15; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: production of high-strength alloy.
