Cast iron, contains, wt %: carbon 3.6-4.0; silicon 1.6-1.8; manganese 0.7-1.1; copper 0.7-1.1; aluminium 0.3-0.4; calcium 0.007-0.011; zirconium 0.1-0.15; lithium 0.002-0.003; phosphorus 0.1-0.15; cobalt 0.9-1.1; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: cast iron allows high strength.
