FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: chamber of liquid propellant engine (LPE) includes combustion chamber with convergent part, critical section, nozzle, cooling circuit formed with shaped internal and external covers, which are attached to each other, and external jacket. Header for supply of cooler to cooling circuit is located on divergent part of the nozzle, and cooler overflow pipes from inlet part of combustion chamber to header on divergent part of the nozzle. Pipes are installed by means of expansion joints representing a ring the inlet and outlet parts of which are made with eccentricity in relation to each other. Expansion joint between the pipe and mating mounting seat of the chamber is installed with possibility of axial radial rotation; at that, rotation axis of expansion joint is perpendicular to chamber axis, and eccentricity of expansion joint is determined from the following ratio e=|Lmax-lmin|, where: e-eccentricity, Lmax -maximum possible length between axes of mating mounting seats of chamber, lmin - minimum possible length between axes of outlet and inlet sections of the pipe.
EFFECT: simplifying assembly process and thus reducing labour input.
