FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: tube installation method, mainly for chambers of liquid-propellant engines (LPE), consists in determination of distances between axes of mounting seats in crossover tube and mating mounting seats of chamber, selection and installation of chamber of compensator between tube and mating mounting seat. Compensator is the ring the inlet and outlet parts of which are made with eccentricity in relation to each other, which is equal to difference of distances between axes of mounting seats of crossover tube and mating mounting seats of chamber. Compensator is installed between tube and mating mounting seat of chamber with possibility of axial rotation; at that, rotation axis of compensator is perpendicular to longitudinal axis of chamber, and eccentricity of compensator is determined by ratio e=|Lmax-lmin\, where e - eccentricity, Lmax - maximum possible length between axes of mating mounting seats of chamber, lmin - minimum possible length between axes of outlet and inlet cross-sections of the tube. After installation the compensator is rotated about its rotation axis, the required position of tube is chosen and fixed together with compensator in the required position.
EFFECT: simplifying labour intensity of installation of tubes and assembly of chamber.
