FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: there are proposed three versions of the test device for LPE tests by using the exhaust diffuser with central body. In the first version the central body consists of movable part and fixed part with a drive providing the possibility of axial movement of movable part of central body, the inlet section of which is made in the form of subsequent row of cones with various inclination angle of the generatrix. In the second version of the test device for LPE the shaped inlet section of central body is made in the form of blunted cone and has gas supply assemblies, one of which is made in the form of annular nozzle with the cut directed opposite gas flow in LPE nozzle, the second one is made in the form of belts with distributed system of holes (perforation), which are located on side surface of the inlet section of central body, and gas supply assemblies have independent gas supply lines with automatic gas flow controls. In the third version of the test device for LPE tests the shaped inlet section of central body is two-layered; at that, upper layer is made from easy-to-carry over material, e.g. polymeric material, and the layer itself is formed in the form of a set of cone-shaped rings from materials having various speed of breakdown (carry-over, destruction).
EFFECT: development of exhaust diffusers of simple construction, which have limited sizes for the test of height steps of LPE and engines of upper stages, which have low combustion chamber pressure and nozzles with high geometric degree of expansion, decrease of start-up and operating pressure of exhaust diffuser of simplified construction.
