FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: there is disclosed mobile terminal (MT) designed for obtaining information relating to an image photographed through the photographic camera module of the MT. MT captures the desired image in the photographed image and either searches for information relating to the captured image within itself, or sends an information request to an information server through the Internet or a wireless network. After receiving the captured image from the MT, the information server identifies the pattern and character of the image from the captured image and searches for information related to the pattern or character of the image. The information server sends the found information to the MT, and the MT displays the received information for the user.
