FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method of shuttering profile obtainment by cold reduction from hollow blank. Method involves hollow blank deformation in rollers of several sequential frames with simultaneous blank cobbing along its perimetre with perimetre preserved, generation of longitudinal pulling force at equal roller rotation rates in all frames, and calibration to obtain profile of required size and shape. Deformation of hollow blank into the profile is performed against elastic centres of profiles obtained in sequence in blank passage from one frame to another frame positioned at one straight line coinciding with rolling axis. Border transition radius zones between straight profile sectors undergo primary arrangement with preservation of external blank perimetre regardless of the blank thickness. Straight profile sectors are further shaped with arc length of profile surfaces forming straight preserved unchanged and equal to lengths of respective straight sectors of finished profile by roller curve radius change so as to make 15-20 degree turn-down angle in transitions from one frame to another frame.
EFFECT: optimised blank stress-strain state and power parameters of mill, reduced power consumption, improved product quality, simplified construction, reduced materials consumption of mill.
