FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes plasma-electrolytic oxidation in bipolar mode in alkaline electrolyte containing liquid glass, at the same time plasma-electrolytic oxidation is carried out at anode component of voltage rising in process of oxidation from 20 to 310 V, and constant cathode component of voltage 25-30 V, ratio of duration of anode and cathode periods of polarisation 2:1 and frequency of their repetition of 150 Hz for 10-20 min in electrolyte that contains the following components, g/l: Na2CO3 15-20, Na2SiO3·H2O 25-30 and water.
EFFECT: increasing corrosion resistance of coatings.
