FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: air-cleaning device for gas turbine engine includes air-receiving chamber interconnected with the engine suction path, air filters, and cycle air heating system. Device is equipped with vertical tube at the inlet section of which there installed on rotary mechanism similar to the wind vane is self-adjusting air intake. Its air-receiving hole is oriented perpendicular to the tube axis always towards wind. Above suction path there installed is inertial dust collector, and at the tube bottom there located is dust-collecting chamber equipped with a door and a damper cutting it off inertial dust collector for the chamber cleaning period.
EFFECT: invention allows optimising the operation of air-cleaning device and increasing its efficiency, and namely: increasing ambient air cleaning degree, protecting air filters against quick blockage and enlarging their operating period, operating efficiently in conditions of snow storms, strong dust and wind, cleaning the dust-collecting chamber without stopping the operation of gas turbine engine, using effectively the wind force for reducing the pressure decrease in suction path, and therefore increasing the engine efficiency.
