FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to rocket engineering and can be used during development of nozzle clusters of engine units. Nozzle cluster includes a mouth with cylindrical flange at the cut, end plug tightly installed on it in the form of a shell, and a plug of critical nozzle section. Plug of critical nozzle section is fixed on spring-loaded shell tightly installed inside central hollow casing tightly attached to the bottom of end plug. Internal cavity of spring-loaded shell and casing is interconnected to atmosphere. Plug of critical nozzle section is made from flexible material. End plug is equipped with a lock made in the form of spring-elastic blades contacting the external surface of the mouth along annular conical interface of mouth and cylindrical flange.
EFFECT: invention allows improving operating reliability of nozzle cluster owing to providing the opening of the plug of critical nozzle section and end plug at design time points.
