FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering, particularly, to solid-propellant rocket engines. Nozzle plug of solid-propellant rocket engine with O-ring on outer surface, with cone thickening on the side of nozzle outlet funnel and with booster on the side of inlet funnel is made composite, consisting of interconnected plug and forcing assembly. Forcing assembly on the side of the inlet funnel is made in the form of a thin-walled barrel with an expansion formed on the neck and a perforated bottom and is fixed to the plug along the inner surface of the sleeve and external surface of the bottom. Plug is made in the form of cylindrical sleeve with stepped bottom. On the side opposite the bottom, the sleeve is equipped with a broadening contacting with the nozzle outlet funnel. On the side of widening in the walls of the sleeve uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction are through longitudinal slots. O-ring is arranged in groove made on sleeve bottom outer surface. Plug and sleeve of forcing assembly are made of structural materials with various physical and mechanical characteristics. Sleeve of forcing assembly is made of plastic metal (aluminum or alloy based on it, copper or alloy based on it). Plug is made from polymer material. Perforation is performed in walls of the sleeve of the forcing assembly. External diameter of the nozzle of the forcing assembly and the external diameter of the plug are equal to the diameter of the critical section of the nozzle. Broadening on the plug is conic or in form of two conical surfaces interconnected by large bases. Enlargement of the nozzle unit on the neck of the sleeve is conic and equidistant to the surface of the inlet funnel.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of solid-propellant rocket engines operation reliability and safety of operating personnel.
