SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engine building industry, namely to isolating valve of pneumatic drive of fuel atomiser of internal combustion engine. Pneumatic drive of fuel atomiser includes piston of drive of fuel atomiser, which is connected to fuel atomiser, slide valve, pneumatic accumulator, isolating valve and electronic control system of pneumatic drive of fuel atomiser, and serves for fuel supply to combustion chamber of engine. For that purpose, control system tracks the current position of engine piston, and at the moment when it is necessary to supply fuel to combustion chamber, it sets the slide valve to the position providing the supply of operating medium from pneumatic accumulator to cavity of drive piston of fuel atomiser, in which the working medium expands and moves the drive piston of fuel atomiser and plunger of fuel atomiser, which is connected to it, and as a result, fuel is supplied to combustion chamber. Charging of pneumatic accumulator with working medium from combustion chamber is performed both in air compression stroke in combustion chamber, and in expansion stroke of combustion products. The proposed invention differs by the fact that cavity of drive piston of shutoff valve of isolating valve is connected via pipeline to combustion chamber. When pressure of working medium in pneumatic accumulator is above optimum level, working medium is supplied from combustion chamber to cavity of drive piston of shutoff valve of isolating valve and moves the drive piston of shutoff valve and the shutoff valve connected to it to closed position, thus forbidding the supply of working medium to pneumatic accumulator.
EFFECT: providing optimum charging level of pneumatic accumulator.
