SUBSTANCE: invention relates to atomic industry, in part to processing radioactive wastes and specifically to devices for jet washing pulp and residue when emptying high-activity radioactive wastes from storage tanks, converting them to suspended state for their further extraction for processing. The device for washing residue has an electric drive, a shaft, a working liquid inlet pipe, a housing, a working chamber and a washing head with a nozzle capable of penetrating and disintegrating the residue and a socket piece inside the working chamber and fitted coaxially with the shaft. The shaft can move vertically inside a gear wheel connected to the hollow shaft of the bearing assembly and engaged with the gear wheel on the shaft of the electric drive. There is a holder on the shaft above the gear wheel. Between the nozzle and the apparatus for penetrating and disintegrating the residue there is a conveyor screw with a load inside.
EFFECT: increased functionalities of the device due to prevention of vertical displacement of the shaft with a nozzle at certain levels in the pulp or residue, replacement of compression stress in sections of the shaft with tensile stress, and reduced deviation amplitude of the shaft with the nozzle under the effect of the reaction force of the jet flowing from the nozzle.
