FIELD: fire fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for forest burnout extinguishing. A forest fire control system comprises a incombustible fire extinguishant designed as a parachute-shaped square coverlet with incombustible ropes fastened to each of four corners. The coverlet is made of a flexible heat-resistant light material with perforations equispaced along the coverlet at 10 % of the coverlet length and width. Each rope is connected to one helicopter. The perforations serve for hot air tap from under the coverlet and prevention of the coverlet inflation with strong ascending hot air streams over a fire zone so ensuring the coverlet to bear against an ignition place surface maximally and to limit access for air. A number of the perforations are considered that they are equispaced along the coverlet at 10 % of the coverlet length and width.
EFFECT: higher effectiveness of seat extinguishing by covering the greater area of a seat of fire.
