FIELD: fire fighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire fighting and can be used for fighting top and land forest and grassland fires and fires in hard-to-reach and remote locations. The device for fighting top and land forest and grassland fires comprises a suspension platform that is attached to a helicopter and carries trunks with fire extinguisher. The trunks are made with a diameter of 300 mm, capacity of 75 litres. Each trunk has a bottom cover, made with the possibility of coming off when actuation of exploder. The cover is made of a noncombustible material and is equipped with an alarm device signalising about the volley from this trunk. The platform is equipped with legs to land and recharge, and a weather vane to stabilise the flight.
EFFECT: invention is effective and prevents reignition.
