FIELD: physics, video technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video equipment and can be used for colour accompanying music in concert halls, discotheque and at home. The disclosed colour organ includes multi-channel frequency filters, a screen and coloured light bulbs, a triangular pipe made from mirrors or reflectors which gather light beams from the light bulbs and direct them onto a rotating mirror drum. Musical signals reach the multi-channel frequency filters from a pickup microphone or over cables. The circuit of each filter has capacitors. Output contacts of the capacitors are connected through diodes to the control contact of a transistor for switching on and controlling brightness of light. The screen and coloured light bulbs are connected by corresponding relays, in the circuits of which there are resistors for providing weak glowing of the light bulbs. Colour patterns on the screen are created by the triangular pipe made from mirrors, on the input side of which there are light bulbs and on the output side of which there is concave mirror fitted at angle of 45 degrees, or through reflectors which gather light beams from the light bulbs and direct them on a rotating mirror drum with curved mirrors in form of semicircles.
EFFECT: wider range of colour organs.
