SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a catalyst composition for hydrocracking hydrocarbon material. The composition contains: (I) a binder; (II) a zeolite with a faujasite structure, selected from a group consisting of USY, VUSY, Y, REUSY and REY; (III) fibrous zeolite which essentially contains non-crossing one-dimensional channels selected from a group consisting of MTW or TON; (IV) an active amount of a catalytically active hydrogenating compound which contains a nickel or tungsten and/or molybdenum compound provided that, the TON structure fibrous zeolite is not THETA-1, Nu-10, KZ-2 or ISI-1. A method of preparing the composition and a hydrocracking method are also disclosed.
EFFECT: invention allows for a single-step process, as well as reduction of undesirable amounts of oil and gases.
