FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to irrigation and can be used in mobile sprinklers to produce sprinkling water with drop sizes suitable for irrigation of wide range of crops. Said invention aims at producing universal nozzle for sprinklers that allows preset water flow rate, finely dispersed sprinkling and simplified maintenance. To this end, water activator is arranged inside sprinkler-activator housing consisting of guide screw attached to rod and having LH turning. Screw diametre equals housing ID. Number of screw starts equals that out water outlet holes ahead of which flow guide representing circular cone is fitted. Cone generating lines follow radius circular arc and are aligned with water outlet edges. Water outlet holes are made in the housing and directed counter clockwise along tangential line to the housing ID. Number and diametre of water outlets are selected required flow rate of sprinkler-activator. LH flow vortex sprayers are secured on the housing outer surface aligned with water outlet holes. Top part of said vortex sprayer is closed while bottom part is open.
EFFECT: higher reliability, simplified design, finely dispersed sprinkling.
