FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry. Proposed method comprises casting hot metal into mould, cooling is down and preliminary machining of casting. To provide for rarefaction, casting is subjected to vacuum treatment in autoclave. Then casting is impregnated with impregnating compound at 0.1-0.8 MPa, compound composition being as follows, in wt %: oligoester acrylate - 60.0-75.0, polyester unsaturated resin - 20.0-35.0, peroxide polymerisation initiator - 1.0-3.0, siccative - 0.1-2.5, inhibitor - 0.01-0.5.
EFFECT: better tightness of casting.
