SUBSTANCE: heating device with horizontal laying of dense layer of includes flat rectangular-shaped tray which is provided with possibility of laying thereon of fuel briquettes in the form of compound cylindrical rods parallel to longitudinal axis of tray in number of 1 to 15 pieces; at that, length L of the tray has been chosen from 4 d to 10 d, where d - diametre of solid fuel briquettes, and ratio of length L of the tray to its width B is 0.8 to 10.
EFFECT: possibility of independent, environmentally safe and economic heating of accommodation and utility rooms, hot-houses and greenhouses, especially in the areas not having natural fuels, and increasing the period between fuel loadings up to 11 hours and more.
