FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: induced magnetic field sensors used are heater coil fitted with current transformers connected in their circuits. Secondary windings of the current transformer are connected to primary windings of a summing transformer through balancing elements of the summing transformer, which are made in form of ballast and variable shunt resistors. The device has a mains supply phase distortion compensator in form of an extra summing transformer which has three primary windings connected to windings of transformers powered by the three-phase power network of the heater. The extra summing transformer is fitted with a balancing device in form of variable resistors and extra shunt resistors with switches in each primary circuit of the extra summing transformer.
EFFECT: simple design with more accurate monitoring.
