METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VIRTUALISATION OF GUEST PHYSICAL ADDRESS IN VIRTUAL MACHINE ENVIRONMENT Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC G06F17/00 

FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method includes initially executed separation of time range of guest physical addresses of the first virtual machine for joint use of pages with the second virtual machine. Time range is within the limits of guest physical address space of the first virtual machine. Request for access is received from the second virtual machine, same as request of direct access to memory, to pages accessible for the first virtual machine. Reference counter of incomplete accesses to pages increases to indicate incomplete access, and pages are displayed into time range of guest physical addresses. Access to pages is realised, and value of reference counter is reduced. Displaying guest physical ranges in the time range is then removed, if value of reference counter equals zero.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of main computer operation.
