FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of controlling absorption of hydrocarbons from gas and can be used in chemical industry. Proposed method consists in varying absorbent flow rate with correction with respect to absorbed component concentration at absorption temperature. In compliance with this invention, absorbed component concentration is measured at absorber inlet, absorbent flow rate is measured and absorbent saturation degree φ is calculated by certain formula using weight functions without allowance for time lag. Calculated magnitude of φ is compared with preset φpreset, difference Δφ=φ-φpreset is defined and, thereafter, absorbent flow rate is corrected by proportional-integral law of adjustment using Δφ as mismatch signal.
EFFECT: higher quality of control over absorption.
