FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improving efficiency of functioning of processes and apparatus and can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical, oil refining, petroleum, gas processing, metallurgy and food industry. Method for automatic control of absorption by varying absorbent flow rate depending on degree of its saturation during absorption process and correcting the concentration of the absorbed component in the absorber at the inlet of the absorber, by measuring absorbent consumption and calculating the degree of saturation of the absorbent, comparing with the preset degree of saturation of the absorbent and correcting the consumption of the absorbent, wherein direction of variation of absorbent flow rate is corrected in accordance with sign of derivative of dependence of degree of saturation on consumption of absorbent, calculated by equation , where - current centred values of consumption of lean absorbent, - current centred values of degree of saturation, N is length of accumulated information array, TS - period of sensors interrogation, j - sequence number of measurement, - identification time, k - sequence number of identification interval.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the absorption process.
