FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crushing equipment and can be used various industrial branches. Proposed crusher comprises housing with hopper for starting stock feed, rolls arranged in said housing run towards each other that have rings with cutting elements arranged so that cutting elements of every roll are arranged between cutting elements of the other toll to make the gap for crushed material passage. Width of cutting elements of one roll exceeds that of the other roll to make different-width passages for crushed material. Note that arrangement of rolls allows varying distance between them. Ledges of cutting elements and mating recesses between them feature identical rounded shape. Every roll has individual drive. Axle of one roll is fixed while another roll can shit horizontally. Assembly consisting of electrically blasting metal conductors connected in series by cylindrical electrodes with holes and furnished with holes is mounted above said rolls. Conductors and electrodes are mounted in lines along the wedge of rolls and fastened by dielectric posts to metal base representing a triangular prism with its length equal to that of rolls mounted at the hopper outlet. Lower base of said prism represents concave elliptic surface. Said blasting conductors and electrodes are mounted on focal line of elliptic surface top focus. Note here that focal line of lower focus is located in the working zone of rolls. Note also that through holes are made in said base along elliptic surface top edges. Electro hydraulic crusher is filled with water. Water level exceeds that of prism top angle.
EFFECT: reduced metal input and power consumption, higher efficiency and quality.
