FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: odorant similar to gas odorant contains: a) at least one cycloalkadien of formula (1) , where n equals to 1 or 3; R is hydrogen or C₁-C₃ alkyl and i) if n equals to 1, then bond between C-3 and C-4 and C-5 and C-6 corresponds to a single bond, while a dotted line together with bond between C-4 and C-5 corresponds to double bond; or bond between C-4 and C-5 and C-5 and C-6 corresponds to single bond, while the dotted line together with bond between C-3 and C-4 corresponds to double bond; and ii) if n equals to 3, then bond between C-3 and C-4 and C-4 and C-5 corresponds to single bond, while the dotted line together with bond between C-5 and C-6 corresponds to double bond; or bond between C-3 and C-4 and C-5 and C-6 corresponds to single bond, while the dotted line together with bond between C-3 and C-4 corresponds to double bond; or their mixture; and b) at least one sulphur-free compound chosen from 1-metoxy-buten-3 yne, 2-methyl-1-buten-3 yne, cyclo-octyne, pyrazines and C₁-C₆ alkyl-complex ethers of acrylic acid, and/or c) at least one sulphur containing compound.

EFFECT: production of odorant stable at gaseous fuel storage and transporting and possessing odour similar to gas odorant.
