FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: recording of optical radiation in time, which accompanies the explosion, is used. Not less than four photoreceivers on the basis of photodiodes activated in photodiode mode are used. All the photoreceivers are mutually calibrated as per reference charge and geodesically located on operational field with orientation of their sensitive elements in the direction of possible explosion zone. Then the received signals are processed with determination of explosion coordinates relative to the chosen reference system. Method allows supplementing non-contact measuring methods of spatial coordinates of explosion and can be used independently without reference to test performance time.
